Unbroken

There is a reason why some religions survived throughout history and some are much less known or almost extinct.

Well, what is religion? According to an online search, the word religion is defined as follow:
Middle English (originally in the sense ‘life under monastic vows’): from Old French, or from Latin religio(n-) ‘obligation, bond, reverence,’ perhaps based on Latin religare ‘to bind.’

Placenta
This does not sound liberating - “to bind” or “obligation””life under some kind of vows”, etc. Would you like to be bound...? “

Before we came out to this world, we were all in our mothers’ wombs. We were all bound with our mothers via umbilical cord. The cord is attached to the placenta, a flat vascular organ that looks like a tree - freshly made inside the uterus only when a woman becomes pregnant. Without this “binding” a new life form won’t be happy, or sustainable in the early phases. This cord will be cut when the baby takes his first breath. This is the baby’s first physical separation from his mother - the bond or binding ends here. But new and magical bonds will start - through skin, sensory, and often through breastfeeding. This new binding is no longer a mechanic one, but is something much greater - and visible to all people around her. These are beautiful and peaceful moments.

Have you noticed your reaction, when you hear a baby cry? Most people react somewhat acutely to that sound. Especially people look with some level of distress when they hear a baby’s cry in a crowded place, like a train, bus, or airplane. Because we all remember that feeling of- “separation anxiety”, “sense of abandonment”, “sense of loss (security)”, and perhaps “hunger pain”. The baby will grab and cling on to whatever she sees as familiar and gives her comfort- so they may go back to the “happy place” again. This is often to go back to sleepy time.

What we seek from our life is not too far from this experience. We human beings often seek comfort. The path of least resistance....perhaps. Then we also wonder - this is what we do. We wonder and we ask .....as wonder and we ask. This is our specialty. We often ponder why we feel this lonely. Why we feel this much discomfort? Why am I here.....? What are these relentless feelings of “seeking X”?  As people are being asked “what do you want?” type of question, they often answer...”I just want to be happy”. really? Let’s take a look at top 10 New Year Resolutions...

    Top 10 New Year Resolution

    1. Quit smoking
    2. Get fit
    3. Lose weight
    4. spend more time with family
    5. quit drinking
    6. get out of debt
    7. organize self
    8. give more
    9. Enjoy life
    10. Try something new

Yes, these are all for happiness. Being free from obsession, depression, and addiction and investing more towards giving and spending time with loved ones. These lists seem to be achievable - they are within reach. So we all can be quite happy and content or at least we have the potential to be in that state, yes?

What we really want is to be in that semi-coma like state - never ending sensation of these feelings of “comfort”, “happiness”, or “a high”. Oh yes, this is a big one - we want to have that “without” having judgement - carrying around the feelings of guilt, shame, jealousy and competitiveness.
This is a tall order - not easy!

So may we move on without having any expectations? May we just be happy, as it is. Because we are already in that state of greatness. We are already in that highest state. We shall sit back and absorb all the greatness around us and be that.

This is also a tall order - equally as challenging as the one above.

Someone had accomplished this. Those folks are often called, ascended masters. Some say that only difference between them and us is resistance. Yes, not having any judgement but assessment. Or they are able to “release” the feelings that tied them to “judgement”. So free from all programmed systems of belief, and free from self-imposed limits. This seems to be the opposite of “binding” or “obligation” that links back to the concept of “religion”.

Ironically, many ascended masters are closely linked to religions - at least the famous ones are. So why do we seek worship ascended masters? Why do we go to religious organizations that offer a“bind”-minded belief system? Is all we seek to be free from the debt and guilt that is created by others and ourselves?

Just like many of these new year resolutions that last no more than 4 weeks, much of our “pursuit” of freedom is often short lived. It is not because its impossible - because it is possible. But maybe because it is not compelling enough, or “forces” are too strong. The forces can be external or internal or both. Earning money in a corporation, listening to media, or exposing yourself to a material-oriented society too long, etc..... also, self-doubt and negative self-talk can really do long-term damage to your self-esteem. Pretty soon, we do not want to face the fundamental questions.....

    Who am I?

    Why am I here?

    Where am I going to?

Yes? As soon as people start asking these fundamental questions, they start searching in the place called, religion, faith, become one with god(s), etc. When one finally realizes that this is a journey of forever-ness, one starts to seek joy, love, and passion. If this is infinite   journey - what’s the hurry?

Let’s enjoy the wonder, and mystical moments.....This is why awakened folks are so calm and happy. The less awaken ones are in hurry, stressed, and lack of stillness.

So having this “infinite” idea, this powerful belief, does this change your view on “bonds”or “binds”?
So this is not a yes/no answer. It is more to do with which and how. One will seek specific bindings that will help them grow into an even more awaken being. The bindings allow us to expand our infinite mind to the next level of infinite. The binding is so innate and sacred that you want to keep being bound - such as like a baby in a womb.

These bindingss are perhaps something “unbreakable”.

I wish that you all will find these unbreakable bindings - a oneness that expands you into the next infinite being......

    Love

    Makiko
