ever since i decided to run a marathon, it became a part of my life.
There are many good things that come with running. I get the runner's high quite often - so I don't need to add a list of benefits :-) Ha! I am an addict. My husband thinks I am a nuts, but again, being nuts can be better than called 'addict' !?
There are some side-effects too. My first year of running, my challenge was to manage physical pains. I experienced many different pains that I can pronounce so many different latin words. Thanks to all the field experts, and my endurance colleagues, I am able to manage these pains. After all, those are physical signals, sometime people called them 'pains'.
Now, in my second running year, I notice that I need to train my brain.
Mind is brilliant - but can be too powerful.
Maybe much easier than I think - best thing could be not to 'think' much.
Don't you want to live like a dog time to time? Bark, run, eat and sleep. Wag a tail when you're happy, and use pretty much everywhere as a bathroom. Also, no female dogs would care about their body weights or figures.
I should be doing more of a dog thing, and do less of these core strength exercise and other stretches.
I will report back in 2 weeks and see how I am going with this.
cheers, always love to read your comments.
hugs,
m
